Ganesh chaturthis is also known as a Vinayak chaturthi. This festival is Hindu festival. There is Traditional stories behind Ganesh chaturthi. As you know this festival is celebrate in memory of Lord Ganesha brith.
Ganesh chaturthi is starting with the installation of Ganesha Idol. This idol is created by clay. Artist use clay to create Ganesha idol. some artist use Plaster of paris. that makes water polution so govt. has stay on plaster of paris statue.
Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival of Honoring and happiness. we are celebrating Ganesh chaturthi is birth day of Lord Ganesha. In all over country this festival celebrate 10 days. this all 10 days people celebrate.This event celebrate as a public event in pune from the 16th century.
This festival is also celebrate in other country. Lots of Indians are living in foreign so they celebrate this festival with honoring and happiness. In foreign various association are celebrating this festival in foreign country.
In this Festival we are ending with immersion of Ganesha’s Idol into Water. This festival is mostly celebrating in Gujarat,Maharashtra, Rajasthan. This process continue till the end of Ganesh immersion with loud speaker and shouting “GANPATI BAPA MORIYA”.
